Refund policy

Fair help when a paid plan does not work out

BiteRoster is willing to issue prorated refunds where appropriate. Tell us what happened and we will review the unused portion of the billing period fairly.

Seven-day trial

Try a Roster for a week is a seven-day trial. You are not charged until the trial ends. Cancel before the end date shown in Settings → Plan & Billing to avoid the first charge.

If a technical or billing problem causes an unexpected trial charge, contact us promptly so we can investigate it.

When a prorated refund may be appropriate

Examples include an extended service problem that prevented meaningful use, an accidental duplicate charge, or another billing issue where charging for the full period would be unfair.

We review the account, charge, time already used, and circumstances. Approval and the amount are determined case by case; this policy does not promise a refund for every cancellation or unused day.

Canceling, downgrading, and preserving your work

A normal cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period, so access continues through the date already paid for. A downgrade can limit new paid-only changes, but it does not delete recipes, meal plans, Pantry records, shopping lists, or other Roster content.

A refund and a subscription cancellation are separate actions. Tell us if you want both so the renewal state is clear.

How to request help

Email support@biteroster.com from the address connected to your BiteRoster account. Include the Roster name, charge date, and a short explanation. Do not send complete card numbers or passwords.

Approved refunds are returned through Paddle to the original payment method. Bank processing time can vary after Paddle issues the refund.
