Report content respectfully and precisely
BiteRoster provides a low-key reporting path for copyright concerns involving public recipes, Community posts, and comments. We review reports, preserve case history, and can reverse an incorrect takedown.

Use the in-product report when possible
Open the relevant public recipe, post, or comment and choose Copyright in its report control. The report automatically identifies the public item without attaching private workspace data.
If the item is unavailable or you cannot sign in, email support@biteroster.com with the public URL and “Copyright report” in the subject. Do not send passwords, payment details, or unrelated private recipe contents.
Information that helps us review
Identify the copyrighted work, the BiteRoster content you believe infringes it, where the authorized original can be found, your relationship to the rights holder, and a reliable way to contact you. Explain the specific material at issue rather than reporting an entire account without context.
For a formal DMCA notice, include the statements, signature, and other information required by applicable law. Knowingly material misrepresentations may have legal consequences.
Review, takedown, and reinstatement
A report does not automatically prove infringement. A system administrator can remove a reported public recipe from discovery while preserving the owner’s private saved data and the internal case record.
If a report is mistaken or the issue is resolved, the takedown can be reversed. Public discoverability after reinstatement still follows the recipe creator’s current sharing preference.
Responses and repeat concerns
A content owner who believes a takedown was incorrect can email support@biteroster.com with the case context and any counter-notice information that applies. We may share a legally sufficient notice or response with the relevant parties when required to process it.
Repeated or serious infringement may lead to additional restrictions under the Terms, while good-faith disputes and false positives receive review rather than automatic permanent punishment.
